Sedgwick
Museum of Earth Sciences
One of the secret treasures of the University and its
older museum, the Sedgwick museum has a collection of
more than 1 million fossils that go from the primitive
forms of life -of more than 3000 million years old-
until marine, dinosaurs, ammonites, reptiles and an
hippopotamus of 125,000 years old found in a near quarry,
a probe of the climatic and environmental changes of
the planet.
