Sherlock
Holmes Museum
Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson lived in 221b of Baker
Street between 1881 and 1904, according to the stories
written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The famous first
floor studio was maintained such as it was in the Victorian
era. The visitors can seat in the Holmes armchair next
to the fireplace and go inside his room.
His possessions are in the same place that he used to
have them: its pipe, violin, chemistry equipment, magnifying
glass... The room of Dr Watson is on the second floor
and its personal diaries can be found there, with annotations
of the famous Baskerville Hound case. In the third floor
are wax models that represent scenes of some of the
most famous cases of the detective.
