Museum
of Science and Industry
This museum reveals the history of Manchester, the first
industrial city of the world, from its origins in the
Roman era to the present. Between the memorable moments
of a visit
to the museum are counted a stroll by 19th century sewers,
or follow the history of the textile industry, to see
how crude wool goes turning to the knitted clothes that
cover us. It also offers exhibitions on how the technology
and our use of energies have been changing our way of
life.
