London Outskirts
Several cities attracts the interest of any traveller
when he is in London, due to it’s proximity and
to the good bus and trains connections. Oxford, world-wide
famous by its university, can be known in a one day
excursion. The traveller can visit some of the colleges
that so much fame have given to the city as those of
Merton, Queen, Wadham, Trinity and St. John.
Once in Oxford, we can take a short tour to the near
town of Strattford and visit the born house museum of
Shakespeare. To the east, we find the other great university
city of England: Cambridge. Many say that its population
and colleges (Corpus Christi, Clare, St. John, Magdalene,
Jesus, etc.) are more attractive than Oxford.
